Research Assistant:

The Role of Culture in Mentalising

In this role I worked one-on-one with Dr. Joseph Watts to conduct a literature review of research on mentalising and culture in order to make recommendations for future research directions in this domain.

Distance Teaching:

Foundations of Psychological Science (PSYC107) and Intermediate Research Methods and Statistics (PSYC375)

I was the first Distance Facilitator for both of these courses in  in Semester 2 2024. My duties included creating videos for the asynchronous labs, responding to student queries via email and forum, and holding regular drop-in help sessions via Zoom.

Teaching Assistant Coordinator:

 Social Psychology (PSYC213)

I was the Teaching Assistant Coordinator for this course  in Semester 1 2024. My responsibilities included assisting with the development of distance student lab content, delivering labs online and in-person, and responding to student queries and issues.

Additionally, I was a Teaching Assistant for this course in S2 2023.

 Introductory Research Methods and Statistics (PSYC206)

I was the deputy Teaching Assistant Coordinator for this course in Semester 1 202. My responsibilities included assisting with the development of distance student lab content, delivering online lab content, and responding to student queries and issues.

Additionally, I was a Teaching Assistant for this course in Semester 2 2023, and a marker during Summer 2023/24

Intermediate Research Methods and Statistics (PSYC344)

I was the Course Facilitator, Teaching Assistant Coordinator, and a Guest Lecturer for this course. My responsibilities included managing teaching assistants, responding to student queries and issues, and creating and organising assessments and lab materials. I also delived the three-part Philosophy of Science lecture series for this course, and was nominated for lecturer of the year by UC PSYCSOC.

Additionally, I was the Teaching Assistant for this course in S2 2022, and the Online Facilitator for Summer 2022/23 and 2023/24. This course has now been retired and replaced with a new equivalent course.

In these roles my responsibilities included delivering labs in-person and/or online, and marking assessments.
